All Hail The Dan Deacon Super-Fan!
Perhaps I didn't emphasize this enough in my Philly Popped! Fest review, but one man, one gloriously admirable man in the crowd of sweaty, scrawny indie-kids stood above the rest. This man was dubbed by my friend Jackie and I as...The Dan Deacon Super-Fan:
Clearly this unique gent is something to behold, even in the midst of the spectacle that fans have come to know from a Dan Deacon show. Everyone here at The Walrus agrees that this dude is amazing. From his enthusiasm to his attire (or lack there of) he is the living embodiment of an expression that other fans long to express, but don't always have the guts to do so. Super-Fan, here's to you, keep on keepin' on:
