Black Randy Wants You to Pass the Dust, He Thinks He's Bowie
Black Randy was one of those late 70s Californian Punks who did his best to gross everyone out or piss off everyone. Dubbed the missing link between Iggy Pop and G.G. Allin, he loved practical jokes that involved smearing shit, singing about gay prostitutes, and sleeping in porn arcades.
How Very Hunky Dory
In 1980, Dangerhouse Records released the only album Black Randy and the Metrosquad ever recorded, "Pass the Dust, I Think I'm Bowie." It is difficult to think of another album whose songs vary stylistically from James White No Wave, to Black Flag Punk, to Booker T Soul all in just about a half hour's time.
If drug induced, shit smeared, free-for-all, Punk Rock Soul Funk parties are your thing. This album should be in your collection.
