Solid Indie Pop from Shout Out Louds
It's true, another excellent album from Sweden. Is wonderful music their sole export? The Shout Out Louds are a great indie pop/rock band that released their second album, Our Ill Wills, at the beginning of September.
Lead Singer Adam Oleniu’s sounds enough like Robert Smith that he could be in a successful Cure cover band and the group has a diverse percussion sound that is sometimes reminiscent of Architecture in Helsinki. Produced by Bjorn Yttling from Peter, Bjorn & John, the album definitely shares that group’s musical sensibilities.
Here’s the music video from the first single off of Our Ill Wills, “Tonight I have to Leave It.”
