Exclusive Album Track From Philly's Up and Coming Dark Horse and the Carousels, Details of Record Release Party at Making Time This Friday

The debut album from local Garage-Rock new-comers Dark Horse and the Carousels will remind you why you loved Rock and Roll in the first place. It's a collection of 11 explosive cuts with themes ranging from, what else but, Satan, partying and sex. For me, "Blood Letter" is the most immediate and kick-ass of the riff-roaring collection. It has all the components of great Nuggets-inspired Rock and Roll; a driving rhythm section plus charismatic and overly-dramatic vocals, which all take a unsuspecting turn...for the better. It's the song that I enjoy seeing the most when they play live...and with these guys, seeing is believing.

If you live in Philly or will be in the area tomorrow night, be sure to catch their live show/record release party at Making Time. The Teenagers will be performing on the main stage, but Dark Horse are guaranteed to be tearing down the walls of the "Rock-Tits Room." If I were you, I wouldn't miss it.
