"HoneyDips in Gotham" is another early nineties classic
A HoneyDip is typically considered a very attractive female, especially in the context of the Boogiemonsters classic, "HoneyDips in Gotham".
Gotham is a typeface, fictional home of Batman, and as well, a name given to New York City by Washington Irving in 1807.
This has always been one of my favorite tracks, and I recently dug up the album to put it back in heavy rotation. It's nice to hear Hip Hop that puts females in a positive light. I wish there were more tracks that did this, as apposed to the female being portrayed as the scantily clad background dancer.
I recommend that you cop it and do the same.
