Oh how Hot Chip love their electronic sound-making-gadget-plug-in thingies. Then again, who could blame them? They are usually pretty awesome at using them. However, on their new remix of Caribou’s “She’s the One”, they take what was once a 4 minute mellow and serene psych-ballad and transform it into an 8 minute playground for their brand of electro-nerdiness. For the most part the remix sounds cool and gets your head nodding, but it wanks off for way too long at the end. No worries, Hot Chip, I still lova ya…this is just a friendly Warning.
