Is Squadra Blanco’s Night of the Illuminati the Best Halloween Record of All Time?

Some call Squadra Blanco’s (aka Legowelt) 2002 album Night of the Illuminati one of the spookiest and best Halloween-sounding electronic albums of all time. Although I have only recently discovered it (thanks to my friend Ashley who has exceptional taste) I am starting to think that it may not be a conspiracy…unlike the actual Illuminati, which according to this guy is completely REAL. Anyway, I’m definitely digging the Italo Disco meets 80’s horror movie vibe so far.

This is a very good album, but if you are not already familiar with “Black Mass” by Lucifer (Mort Garson) seek it out, as it is truly the best electronic Halloween album ever. There was a follow up album also quite excellent called “The Unexplained” by Ataraxia (Mort Garson)!!! Stevo In Yr Stereo of Nightmare City Halloween
