Midnight Juggernauts=Galactic Disco Prog-Rock Cheese Bombs

So as you may have noticed, our other writer Emily is on a serious Australian music kick. I even think she is developing a slight Aussie accent. Seriously, Emily, it’s kind of weird. Coincidentally, today I stumbled upon a cool synth-rock group from down under. Hmm, maybe she’s onto something…
Midnight Juggernauts are a new band who sing about The United Nations, space enemies and psycho robots. Their debut album, Dystopia, is a cheesy, but awesome blend of Styx, ELO and Ween. They also happen to be favorites of current electronic darlings Justice (they are opening for Justice on their North American Tour.)
No date has been set for Dystopia’s International release, but you can buy it on import over at JB Hi-Fi.
Stream more of their music and check their tour dates on their MySpace.
