Uh oh. I got lost in the MySpace music maze and ended up in Denmark, listening to a new band called No and the Maybes. I don’t know much about these guys, except that they are from Copenhagen and that their demos sound better than a lot of band’s studio albums. Quirky and lo-fi with gentle harmonies and subtle synthesizers, No and the Maybe’s will make a nice fit in your collection, between Beach Boys Pet Sounds and XTC’s Skylarking.
