New Music: Quiet Village’s Badass "Circus of Horror"

Quiet Village’s “Circus of Horror”, from their awesomely drugged-out, dreamy album Silent Movie, has been buzzing around the blogs and for good reason. It’s a bad-ass, old-school funk groove reminiscent of 70’s and 80s exploitation/grindhouse film soundtracks. In fact, it would have fit in perfectly with one of Lucio Fulci’s Zombi classics or a movie I saw recently, the amazing 80’s biker schlock fest, 1990: The Bronx Warriors. Let’s put it this way, if you listen to it as you walk down the street you will instantly feel 1000 times cooler.

Silent Movie will be available via Amazon on May 13th. You can preview the album on their micro-site and pre-order it now on !K7 Records.
