Whenever something monumental happens in the world of politics, or the world itself for that matter, rest assured that the legendary Steinski will have something to say about it.

Tuesday’s historical inauguration was no exception. Check out his new “rough” track that mashes tribal rhythms with Civil Rights leader Reverend Joseph Lowry’s resonant Obama benediction. It’s both celebratory and evocative, slightly reminiscent of Eno and Byrne’s My Life in the Bush of Ghosts.
