On Repeat All Day: New Notwist Song "Good Lies"

Germany's The Notwist have officially been my favorite band ever since they perfected their forward thinking electronic pop sound on the brilliant 2002 album Neon Golden.

After numerous collaborations and side-projects, (Lali Puna, Ms. John Soda, 13 and God, and on and on) Markus Archer and company are back with their new, highly anticipated album--at least by myself and my Notwist obsessed friends Dryw and Aryon--The Devil, You + Me.

"Good Lies," the lead off track, is everything you would expect from the band and more. It is epic. It has guitars. It has double-tracked vocals. It will make the hair on the back of your neck stand up, and it will be in my iTunes on repeat for the rest of the day!

The Devil, You + Me will be released on a plethora of formats (vinyl, CD and digital) by City Slang in Europe in late May. It will then be released by Domino in North America and Japan in early June 2008.
