I currently have “Divine,” the new song by French singer-songwriter Sebastien Tellier from the forth-coming album Sexual, on serious rotation. It’s a lonesome, electro doo-wop tune that sounds slightly inspired by Brian Wilson and The Beach Boys’ 70’s era music, because it manages to be depressing and sunny at the same time. Hopefully it won’t make you want to stay in bed, eat lots of cheesesteaks and bury your face in cocaine, like Brian.
