Yea their name is pretty awesome, but when I first heard it, I imagined some sort of electro spaz-rock band. And although Fuck Buttons (I like totally giggled as I typed that!) are, in fact, spazzes, they are of a different breed. Droney, Spacemen 3-inspired mantras are the Bristol duo’s forté. “Bright Tomorrow,” from the band’s first 7″, begins with melodic ambiance, but around the 2:30 mark, things get very unnerving and strangely sexy.
