New Songwriter, Thao: Bee Stings? No Problem!
Thao Nguyen is a new singer-songwriter with the vulnerable modesty of Cat Power and the vigor of Feist. Her delicate, upbeat acoustic songs include jittery banjo pickin' forcing country-swagger as a relaxed lead guitar shimmers with blissful hooks.
All clues hint that 23 year old Thao will be the next big female indie solo artist for 2008. Seriously, this perdy little lady has major I-pod commercial potential.
