Instead, the HEARTS REVOLUTION may be delivered in the NY duo’s own ice cream truck, The Hearts Challenger, which has been known to make appearances at random events and art openings.
It’s pretty clear that the band likes to use pop-culture references, not only when it comes to promotion, but song lyrics too. “C.Y.O.A. (Choose Your Own Adventure),” from last year’s split 7″ with Crystal Castles, and whose title references those interactive books that I loved so much as a kid, is a gritty, electronic manifesto with a very delectable sweet side.
The band will release its first official EP, Switchblade, on June 24th in North America, via I Heart Comix. Stream more songs on their MySpace page.
