The Notorious Byrd Brothers and Their Ramblin' Music
Staring at the slushy snow covered landscape passing by the window of the train this morning, I seriously considered missing my stop, and going to the airport. Listening to The Byrd's song "Get to You" off the 1968 album The Notorious Byrd Brothers didn't help. Instead, I hesitated for a moment, and considered the feasibility of getting on a plane as the train idled at my station. Ultimately reason conquered impluse (the passport was at home). But if it hadn't been for the Byrd Brothers, and their tempting notions egging me on, I wouldn't have entertained such an alluring fantasy at all!
