I am currently in awe of the new Yeasayer album, Odd Blood. It may be the first great album of 2010 and the best new psych pop/dance album I have heard in a long time. This first single (download it below) and its accompanying video, with its acid-trip/apocalyptic imagery are incredible.

Somehow I managed to never listen to Yeasayer up until this very moment. Thanks to your “Highly Recommended” I’m pretty sure I’ll be picking up the previous and forthcoming albums ’cause this shit is awesome. Why didn’t I listen to them before?
Also, this video rules. I love the colorful static liquid silver stuff. Super cool.
