Awesomely Weird Electro-Funk: Passion Pit - "Sleepyhead"
"Sleepyhead" from Boston's Passion Pit, aka Michael Angelakos and friends, is a fucked up mix of MGMT, The avalanches and mutated samples that could easily be mistaken as munchkins from The Wizard of Oz.
As the music travels down that yellow brick road of drugged-out dream-pop, the beats get crunchier and you get more freaked-out/giddier. Who needs drugs when you have music like "Sleepyhead"?
