What's Your Rupture? A Record Label For Fans Of The Beautiful, Erratic, Crappy, and Static

What's Your Rupture? A Record Label For Fans Of The Beautiful, Erratic, Crappy, and Static

Good ole Roland Woodbe and the Siltbreezers did it again! They introduced me to another record label I have never heard of and it turns out, I really like. Kudos to New York City's What's Your Rupture? for their invigorating roster of interesting releases. Such as...

Love Is All are a playful, jangly, lo-fi band outta Gothenburg, Sweden. Here is their video for "Ageing Had Never Been His Friend."

Tyvek
is a garage-y, lo-fi, quintet hailing from Michigan. For Tyvek, music happens when "the multi-track recorder isn't all set up and you've got to capture what's happening that moment because you know it's never going to sound that way again." Case in point with this mp3 for their spontaneous DIY jam "Frustration Rock."

What's Your Rupture? has released an unusual amount of unique singles or albums with truly imaginative bands, and lucky for us, they've got more are planned for the future! If I've piqued your curiosity enough, you need to visit their site.
