You're Gonna Freak Out in Frank Zappa's "200 Motels"
200 Motels is an absurd psychedelic comedy featuring the music of Frank Zappa & Mothers of Invention and The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra based on an album of the same name. The movie is about the bands experiences on the road and of course spoofs on hippie culture.
This movie is super strange, mixing animation and live action with a bizarre narrative from Zappa's perverse genius.
There are guest appearances by Keith Moon (a hot nun) and Ringo Starr, who plays the hilarious character of Frank Zappa!:
